IGN • • technology
Key Points:
- The free 007 First Light Extended Operations DLC has launched, adding five new missions to the TacSim mode, a New Game Plus mode, new outfits, and a photo mode that was missing at launch.
- Four of the new missions focus on the Valhalla supercar, featuring timed driving challenges using the car's weapons and gadgets, though the car cannot yet be used in other missions.
- The New Game Plus mode introduces a new 00 difficulty level, which is significantly harder with faster enemy reactions, tougher NPC variants, and more punishing combat mechanics.
- Additional improvements include enhanced weapon animations and the ability for enemies to throw the player off cliffs, mirroring player abilities from the base game.
- This marks the first content DLC for 007 First Light, a highly praised Bond game, and while it lacks a story expansion, it offers substantial new gameplay content for free.
