- 8BitDo has launched the Ultimate 3C+ wireless controller, featuring thumb stick tension adjustment and additional buttons, marking a notable upgrade from previous models.
- The controller is priced around $40, which some users find reasonable given its features, though opinions vary on whether it's worth upgrading from the Ultimate 2C.
- Unlike some expectations, the Ultimate 3C+ does not come with a charging dock, as it is considered a lower-priced variant within the Ultimate 3 series.
- The controller’s battery is replaceable by removing screws, with a connector-based design rather than soldered, addressing concerns about battery longevity.
- The inclusion of hall effect sticks with potential for precise centering and no deadzone is highlighted as a rare feature at this price point, making it appealing for casual and living room gaming.
