Key Points:
- Apple has released the release candidate (RC) of iOS 27.2 and iPadOS 27.2 to developers for testing, following the fourth beta release last week.
- Registered developers can download the RC by enabling the iOS 27 developer beta through their device settings.
- The update includes expanded Siri AI language support for French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, and Spanish, although the new iOS 27 Health app features have been removed for a future release.
- Additional changes include profiles for the Apple TV app, anniversary alerts in Call Context, a new Apple Music icon, and an expanded App Tracking Transparency prompt for EU users.
- Apple expects the public release of iOS 27.2 to occur before the end of October, potentially as soon as next week with the RC now available.
