BS Meter on Dylan Larkin, Travis Konecny and the Latest NHL Trade Rumors

Key Points:

• The Winnipeg Jets traded star goaltender Connor Hellebuyck to the New Jersey Devils in a major early-season NHL deal, signaling a trend toward more significant trades happening before the March deadline due to increased salary cap space.
• The Toronto Maple Leafs, despite a strong start, may explore trading a premium asset to strengthen their defense following Chris Tanev's injury, with general manager John Chayka open to moving older players for younger talent.
• The Columbus Blue Jackets are reportedly listening to offers for winger Dmitri Voronkov as they struggle near the bottom of the Eastern Conference, potentially trading him before he reaches unrestricted free agency.
• The Pittsburgh Penguins are open to trading veteran players, including Erik Karlsson, Kris Letang, Rickard Rakell, and Bryan Rust, to create roster space for younger talent amid a disappointing start to the season.
• Despite speculation, it is unlikely the Philadelphia Flyers will trade leading scorer Travis Konecny due to his no-movement clause and contract, although winger Owen Tippett is garnering more trade interest.
