Kathleen Turner shares baffled reaction to Michael Douglas’s affair confession

Key Points:

• Michael Douglas revealed in his memoir "One Helluva Ride" that he and Kathleen Turner had a secret affair during the filming of the 1984 movie "Romancing the Stone," despite both previously denying it.
• Douglas described falling hard for Turner and sneaking into her room after long days on set, while both were involved in extramarital affairs; the romance ended when Douglas’s then-wife Diandra Luker visited the set with their son.
• Kathleen Turner responded humorously to the revelation, calling it "a fuss about something 40 years ago" and expressing affection for Douglas while looking forward to his book.
• Douglas and Luker eventually divorced in 2000, and Douglas later married Catherine Zeta-Jones, with whom he has two children; Turner and Douglas continued to work together but maintained denial about their past relationship until now.
• Turner had previously acknowledged a near-romantic connection with Douglas in a 2023 interview, confirming the affair was ended out of respect for his then-marriage.
