Key Points:
- Former Fox News meteorologist Janice Dean criticized Megyn Kelly for making dismissive remarks about actress Christina Applegate’s misdiagnosed multiple sclerosis (MS), calling Kelly’s comments “disgusting” and “heartless.”
- Dean, who has lived with MS for over 20 years, accused Kelly of having no close friends and living in isolation, which she believes contributes to Kelly’s increasingly controversial and unkind public statements.
- Kelly has recently faced backlash for attacking several women, including Michelle Obama and Sandra Bullock, with Dean condemning her use of her platform to put others down.
- Despite her harsh criticism, Dean expressed a desire to avoid further personal conflict with Kelly, focusing instead on raising awareness about MS and the challenges faced by those living with the disease.
