NFL Monday Night Football preview: Cowboys can't afford to lose to this version of the Eagles

Key Points:

• The Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys both have disappointing 2-4 starts, with the Eagles suffering significant injuries including quarterback Jalen Hurts, while the Cowboys struggle mainly due to poor performance, especially on defense.
• The Eagles face a tough Monday night game missing key players such as Hurts, DeVonta Smith, and others, with Tanner McKee starting at quarterback and Saquon Barkley potentially returning from injury.
• Dallas, despite a relatively healthy roster, has lost two consecutive games and is struggling offensively, particularly in the running game where Javonte Williams has seen a decline in productivity.
• The NFC East race is uncertain, but the Cowboys appear to have a better chance to salvage their season, while the Eagles’ outlook is bleak without Hurts, especially if Dallas wins the upcoming matchup.
• Betting odds have shifted against the Eagles due to injuries, with Dallas favored by 4.5 points, and fantasy football watchers should monitor Barkley’s health, Dallas receivers’ consistency, and which Eagles pass catchers might emerge amid absences.
