Packers Injury Updates: Sean Rhyan, Zaire Franklin likely to miss time

Key Points:
- The Green Bay Packers face injury setbacks with linebacker Zaire Franklin suffering a hairline leg fracture, ruling him out for Week 8 but not expected to be season-ending or require injured reserve placement.
- Starting center Sean Rhyan is likely headed to injured reserve due to a high ankle sprain, potentially sidelining him for over a month and missing multiple games.
- Backup center Jacob Monk also sustained an injury shortly after Rhyan, leading to emergency starter John Williams stepping in, who may start in the upcoming game if Monk remains unavailable.
- The Packers’ decision to keep Franklin off injured reserve indicates an expectation for his return before the end of November, while any IR stints would delay player returns until at least Week 13 due to the team's bye week.
