Ravens Injury Report: Why Recent History Doesn't Bode Well for Bhayshul Tuten
Sports Illustrated • • sports
Key Points:
- The Jacksonville Jaguars listed running back Bhayshul Tuten and defensive end Travon Walker as questionable for their Thursday Night Football game against the Baltimore Ravens, with Walker dealing with a rib injury and Tuten not practicing for two consecutive days.
- Historically, under head coach Liam Coen, Jaguars players who miss practice during the week have consistently missed the game, suggesting Tuten may likely be sidelined despite being listed as questionable.
- Coen has previously indicated that players need to practice during the week to be cleared to play, reinforcing the likelihood that Tuten will not participate in the game given his limited practice status.
- The short week leading up to the Thursday game is a new challenge for the Coen-led Jaguars, which could influence Tuten's availability, but current trends point toward Chris Rodriguez Jr. stepping into a more prominent role if Tuten is unavailable.
