Key Points:
- The Seattle Seahawks will face the entire AFC West this season, starting with the Los Angeles Chargers, marking a return to their old division from 1977-2001.
- The Chargers are currently 0-3 and dealing with injuries, but remain a challenging opponent; this game also marks Jim Harbaugh’s first meaningful matchup against the Seahawks without Pete Carroll coaching.
- The Seahawks vs. Chargers game will air on CBS at 1:25 pm PT but has limited broadcast reach, primarily available in Washington, Oregon, parts of Idaho and Montana, and the Los Angeles and San Diego areas.
- Andrew Catalon and former Patriots safety Logan Ryan will call the game, with Catalon having previously covered several Seahawks games in recent seasons.
- Seattle’s games will have greater national visibility soon, with upcoming matchups against the 49ers, Broncos, Chiefs, and Bears scheduled for broader or featured broadcasts.
