The Gathering Star Trek Exclusive 7-Card Reveal

Key Points:

• Wizards of the Coast is releasing a Magic: The Gathering Star Trek set on November 13, 2026, featuring cards from across the entire Star Trek franchise, including the original series, Deep Space 9, and Lower Decks.
• IGN exclusively revealed seven cards from the set, including "Tea, Earl Grey, Hot," a 2-mana artifact with the Food subtype that provides card draw and damage options, referencing Captain Picard's famous phrase.
• "Mirror Universe Intrusion" is a standout sorcery card that can copy an opponent's creature with menace or, if kicked, copy all opponent creatures with menace, offering a powerful board control option at the cost of nine mana.
• Other cards like "Dahar Master" and "Unexplored Wilds" offer utility in draft formats but are expected to be less valuable in standard play, likely ending up in bulk collections.
• This Star Trek set is considered one of the most interesting Universes Beyond releases of the year, with anticipation around artifact strategies and connections to other Wizards of the Coast projects like Darkhold Destiny.
