The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake Global Release Times

Key Points:

• The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake for Nintendo Switch 2 is expected to launch globally at midnight local time on November 5, with the possibility of early access by using region tricks such as the New Zealand account method.
• In North America, the game will go live at 12am Eastern Time on November 5, which corresponds to 9pm Pacific Time on November 4, allowing West Coast players to access it slightly earlier.
• The game requires 24.5 GB of storage on the Switch 2, so players should ensure they have enough free space before download.
• Using region switching to access the game early requires a local payment method like a New Zealand credit card or eShop cards, and may result in paying a higher price compared to the USD cost.
• Nintendo will host in-store midnight launch events in San Francisco and New York, and more details about the remake’s development and gameplay changes have been shared through previews and special episodes on Nintendo Voice Chat.
