• For 2027, Honda has introduced a completely redesigned CRF450R with a new engine that is 17mm narrower and 6 pounds lighter, featuring improved torque, smoother power delivery, and enhanced handling due to downsized components and increased crankshaft rigidity.
• The updated engine includes a larger 97mm bore, higher 13.8:1 compression ratio, evolved Unicam valvetrain with titanium exhaust valves, and optimized intake and exhaust ports, resulting in increased power across the rpm range and improved combustion efficiency.
• The chassis and suspension have been overhauled for better stability and handling, including repositioned footpegs, a redesigned frame with increased rigidity, a lighter and more balanced swingarm, and advanced Showa suspension components with Kashima coatings and refined damping characteristics.
• Honda also launched the CRF450R HRC Works Edition, featuring exclusive race-inspired components such as a titanium fuel tank with increased capacity, Yoshimura titanium exhaust, advanced electronics with selectable ride modes and Honda Selectable Torque Control, and premium suspension and wheels tailored for professional motocross competition.
• Additionally, the CRF450RX model has been redesigned for closed-course off-road racing with specific suspension tuning, smaller 18-inch rear wheel, protective handguards, a skid plate, and sustainable materials integrated into bodywork components, aligning with Honda's environmental initiatives.
