Key Points:
- Apple has released Release Candidate (RC) versions of iPadOS 27.2, watchOS 27.2, visionOS 27.2, and other updates, signaling these builds are nearly ready for public launch.
- Most devices are expected to skip iOS 27.1, which is limited to iPhone Duo, and move directly to version 27.2.
- Key new features include Suggested Actions in Messages, profiles on Apple TV for iPad, a redesigned Apple Music app icon, an overhauled Apple Podcasts queue, expanded Siri AI language support, and new Home automation controls for smart locks.
- Apple is anticipated to officially release these updates by the end of October, likely early next week, with potential minor changes if additional RC builds are issued.
- Users testing the RC versions are encouraged to share any new findings or issues to help track developments before the public rollout.
