- The World Series begins tonight with the Milwaukee Brewers hosting the Tampa Bay Rays at 7 pm CT, with both teams submitting their 26-man rosters.
- The Brewers' key pitching addition is Brandon Woodruff, returning from a shoulder injury after not pitching since early July, replacing Chad Patrick on the roster.
- Milwaukee's lineup remains unchanged, with Christian Yelich and Andrew Vaughn likely platooning at DH, favoring Yelich against the Rays' right-handed rotation.
- The Rays made one roster change, adding lefty Garrett Cleavinger for righty Brody Hopkins, and continue to prioritize starting pitchers over bullpen usage, allowing an extra bench bat.
