Key Points:
- Apple is reportedly planning to launch a low-cost iPhone 18e next spring alongside the iPhone 18 and iPhone Air 2, targeting budget-conscious consumers.
- The iPhone 18e is expected to feature an A20 chip, a 6.12-inch OLED display with a 60Hz refresh rate, and a 48MP single rear camera, similar to its predecessor, the iPhone 17e.
- A possible upgrade to a 24MP front camera has been suggested, though it may realistically be closer to an 18MP sensor found in current models.
- The device is likely to focus on performance improvements while maintaining cost-efficiency, with no confirmed changes to the notch or introduction of the Dynamic Island feature.
- Apple aims to keep the iPhone 18e budget-friendly amid rising memory and storage prices, potentially limiting the scope of upgrades compared to other new models.
