Defense (DST) Streamers For Week 9 Fantasy Football: Add The KC Chiefs & More

Key Points:

• The Jacksonville Jaguars were the highest-scoring DST last week and remain a strong streaming option in Week 9 against the Ravens, who will be without Lamar Jackson and Tyler Huntley.
• Week 9 has a lighter bye schedule with only the Steelers and Titans off, making waiver wire competition less intense for fantasy football players.
• Key streaming defense targets this week include the Kansas City Chiefs (42% rostered), who face the Jets and excel in run defense and sacks; the Chicago Bears (28% rostered), who face a one-dimensional Buccaneers offense and recently added defensive lineman Jeffrey Simmons; and the Detroit Lions (28% rostered), who have a favorable matchup against the struggling Dolphins passing attack and a high sack potential.
• The article emphasizes focusing on defenses that generate sacks and turnovers rather than just limiting points allowed, highlighting factors such as offensive line play, quarterback turnover rates, and game script in defense selection.
• The Houston DST is also noted as a noteworthy option coming off a bye to face the 0-7 Chargers, though they are rostered in 63% of leagues and less widely available.
