Key Points:
- Apple has released iOS 27.3 beta 1, introducing a significant Reachability feature for the iPhone Duo to improve one-handed use of its extra-wide outer display.
- Unlike traditional Reachability that shifts the screen vertically, the iPhone Duo version shifts the screen horizontally to the left or right with a short swipe, making it easier to reach controls.
- The Reachability feature can be enabled via Settings under Accessibility and is designed to address user complaints about the difficulty of one-handed operation on the iPhone Duo.
- iOS 27.3 beta 1 is currently available only to developers, with a public beta expected soon and a full release anticipated in mid-December.
- Users are advised to wait for the official release if concerned about potential bugs or performance issues in the beta version.
