Donald Trump says US capable of hitting Iran 'in ten minutes' after Benjamin Netanyahu meeting

Key Points:

• US President Donald Trump stated the US can strike remaining Iranian nuclear sites, including Pickaxe Mountain, within ten minutes and has plans ready to execute quickly if needed.
• Trump emphasized ongoing but unreliable negotiations with Iran, noting they want an agreement but tend to back out, while the US is preparing for possible military action after the November 3 midterm elections.
• The US and Israel are coordinating closely, with recent deployments of US Air Force transport aircraft and air defense systems to the region, alongside increased military exercises near the Iranian border.
• Iran has escalated threats, with Supreme Leader Khamenei ordering readiness for a powerful, wide-ranging response to any further attacks, while the US continues to prefer a diplomatic solution but maintains military preparedness.
• Despite heightened tensions and military posturing, US officials assess that an attack before the midterms is unlikely unless there is a clear Iranian provocation, with diplomacy and military preparations proceeding simultaneously.
