Eagles vs. Commanders live updates, inactives, where to watch: Jayden Daniels, Commanders host Eagles on 'Sunday Night Football' as Philadelphia tries to end 5-game slide

Key Points:

• The Philadelphia Eagles have suffered five consecutive losses this season, with injuries significantly impacting their offensive lineup, including key starters expected to miss the remainder of the year.
• Despite the team's struggles, head coach Nick Sirianni and defensive coordinator Vic Fangio denied any issues with player effort, attributing poor performance mainly to other factors such as talent deficits and injuries.
• The Eagles' defense, which ranked among the top teams in points allowed in previous years, has dropped to 21st this season, coinciding with a struggling offense.
• With quarterback Jalen Hurts sidelined for the season due to blood clots, the Eagles are now positioned as trade-deadline sellers, although running back Saquon Barkley is expected to remain with the team as they plan to contend next season.
• Barkley has faced a challenging season due to injuries, limiting his playing time and production, but is expected to play in the upcoming game against the Washington Commanders despite ongoing hamstring and back issues.
