Key Points:
- Bethesda Game Studios celebrated its 40th anniversary with a video reflecting on its history and teasing future projects, including confirming the title of Elder Scrolls 6 as "Sentinel."
- The teaser revealed a scroll buried in sand, hinting that the game will explore the ancient origins of the Elder Scrolls and is likely set in the city of Sentinel in Hammerfell.
- Despite the title reveal, Bethesda did not provide a release date, and creative director Todd Howard indicated the game is still years away from launch.
- Elder Scrolls 6 was first announced in 2018 without a release window, and Howard has since expressed regret over revealing the project so early, as nearly a decade has passed without further substantial updates.
