NBC Sports • • sports
Key Points:
- NBC Sports has released the first edition of their Top 200 preseason fantasy basketball player rankings, which will be updated weekly during the NBA season.
- Nikola Jokić of Denver remains a dominant fantasy player, but San Antonio’s Victor Wembanyama is seen as a potential future top-ranked player by the 2026-27 season.
- Oklahoma City’s Shai Gilgeous-Alexander continues to be a consistent presence near the top of fantasy rankings in recent years.
- The rankings are designed as a tool for draft preparation but do not necessarily indicate exact draft positions, especially for players like Washington’s Anthony Davis, who carries injury and availability risks.
- These rankings are based on nine-category fantasy formats, including points, rebounds, assists, steals, blocks, turnovers, three-pointers, field-goal percentage, and free-throw percentage, and are available for free download in the Rotoworld Fantasy Basketball Draft Kit.
