Five Eagles head coach candidates, if Nick Sirianni is fired

Key Points:

• The Philadelphia Eagles are facing one of their worst seasons in 2026 following a disappointing 2025 title defense after their 2024 Super Bowl win, raising questions about head coach Nick Sirianni's job security.
• If the Eagles decide to replace Sirianni, they are likely to pursue an offensive-minded coach due to the team's offensive struggles, with Vic Fangio potentially returning as a defensive coach in 2027.
• Five potential head coaching candidates for the Eagles include Declan Doyle (Ravens OC), Kliff Kingsbury (Rams assistant head coach), Klay Kubiak (49ers OC), Nate Scheelhaase (Rams OC), and Grant Udinski (Jaguars OC), all with varying levels of NFL experience and offensive expertise.
• Declan Doyle, the youngest offensive coordinator in the NFL at 30, has experience under coaches like Sean Payton but would be a risky hire given his age and the challenging Philadelphia market.
• Kliff Kingsbury, known for his Air Raid offense and previous head coaching experience with the Arizona Cardinals, currently serves as the Rams' assistant head coach and was previously considered by the Eagles for an offensive coordinator role.
