Former Cowboys QB rips Dallas for 'embarrassing' loss to Cardinals: 'They stink'

Key Points:

• The Dallas Cowboys have now lost all five games against the Arizona Cardinals at AT&T Stadium, with their latest 33-30 overtime defeat marking a particularly disappointing loss despite holding a 10-point lead late in the fourth quarter.
• Former Cowboys quarterback Ben DiNucci described the loss as "embarrassing," criticizing the team's inconsistent effort and calling for significant changes within the locker room, especially from veteran leaders like Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb.
• The Cowboys lost a home game after leading by 14 points in the fourth quarter for the first time this century, breaking a streak of 69 such wins, which highlights their recent struggles and inability to close out games.
• Arizona's comeback was fueled by backup quarterback Gardner Minshew, underscoring Dallas's failure to secure a win against a team likely to finish last in their division, a crucial opponent for Dallas's hopes to win the NFC East.
• Despite calls for change, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has ruled out firing offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer midseason, leaving questions about how the team will address its ongoing performance and cultural issues amidst external distractions.
