Google Translate and Meet are getting a big-time language translation boost

- Initially, the improved speech translation feature in Google Meet will be available as a private preview for select Google Workspace business customers, with a broader rollout planned for later this year.
- Gemini 3.5 Live Translate is also launching globally on the Google Translate app for Android and iOS, introducing a new "listening mode" that allows users to hear live translations through their phone’s earpiece or headphones.
