Here’s everything we know about Trump’s visit to Syracuse today

Key Points:

• President Donald Trump will hold a campaign rally in downtown Syracuse at the Oncenter tonight at 7 p.m., marking his first visit to the city as sitting president; Republican Bruce Blakeman is also expected to speak.
• The event is anticipated to draw thousands of attendees along with a significant police and security presence, while a large counter-protest organized by local groups will take place simultaneously at Clinton Square.
• Extensive road closures and parking restrictions around the Oncenter and downtown Syracuse will be in effect starting Friday morning, including closures on South State Street, Montgomery Street, Madison Street, and Harrison Street, with vehicles parked in restricted areas subject to towing.
• Local Republican officials are largely avoiding the rally, and Centro bus service downtown may experience delays; meanwhile, Blakeman will host a "Trump pre-game" event earlier in the day at Jammers Sports Bar in Lakeland.
• Syracuse City School District will cancel or reschedule after-school activities, and some schools will dismiss early due to the event, while county offices will remain open; ongoing coverage of the rally and protests will be provided by Syracuse.com.
