HP’s latest OmniBooks get RTX Spark, 128 GB LPDDR5X RAM and 3K OLED displays

• HP has introduced two new Nvidia RTX Spark-powered laptops, the OmniBook Ultra 16 and OmniBook X 14, featuring the second RTX Spark N1X configuration with an 18-core CPU and 5,120-core Blackwell RTX GPU, alongside an optional 20-core CPU and 6,144-core GPU variant.
• The OmniBook Ultra 16 is a performance-focused 16-inch OLED laptop offering up to 128 GB LPDDR5X memory, 2 TB PCIe Gen5 SSD, and up to 1 PFLOP of FP4 AI performance, with a 120 Hz display, advanced cooling via a unique "tower hinge and trunk" design, and a 99 Wh battery rated for 17 hours.
• The more portable OmniBook X 14 features a 14-inch OLED display with similar high-end specs, up to 128 GB memory, and up to 2 TB SSD options, weighing 1.71 kg and equipped with a dual-fan cooling system and an 80 Wh battery rated for 15 hours.
• Both laptops include modern connectivity options such as two 40 Gbps USB-C ports with DisplayPort 2.1, USB Power Delivery, two USB-A ports, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, and a 3.5 mm audio jack, with the Ultra 16 also adding a microSD card reader.
• The HP OmniBook Ultra 16 and OmniBook X 14 are expected to launch by fall 2026, though pricing details have not yet been disclosed.
