Key Points:
- Apple has released iOS 27.2 beta 4 for developers, featuring a redesigned Apple Music app icon and other visual updates within the Music app.
- The new Apple Music icon adopts a minimalist black-and-white color scheme, replacing the previous colorful design, with a white background and black logo in light mode and the inverse in dark mode.
- The Music app’s interface now uses blue highlights for the active tab instead of the traditional red/pink, and widgets have switched to simple black backgrounds.
- The Library section has also been updated to a monochrome black-and-white design, removing all previous color accents from Playlists, Albums, Artists, and Songs lists.
- These changes are part of Apple’s broader branding refresh for Apple Music, which began appearing in earlier iOS 27.2 beta releases.
