Key Points:
- iOS 27.2 introduces support for Apple TV 4K remotes in the Find My app, allowing users to locate compatible Siri Remotes (2nd generation and later) directly from the Devices tab.
- Previously, the Siri Remote for Apple TV 4K was not included in Find My, with only limited locating functionality available via the Remote app in Control Center.
- The new Siri Remote (4th generation) enhances lost remote recovery with Precision Finding and a built-in speaker that guides users step-by-step and plays sounds to locate it.
- This upgraded remote is included with the 4th generation Apple TV 4K and can be purchased separately for $59, compatible with all Apple TV 4K and Apple TV HD models.
- Precision Finding requires an iPhone 17 or newer, making the new remote’s locating features most effective for users with the latest iPhone models.
