Key Points:
- iOS 27.2 expands FaceTime's Dual Capture feature to all video calls, including group calls, allowing users with iPhone 17 or newer to simultaneously show front and rear camera views by pressing the ‘Flip’ button.
- The update enhances accessibility by supporting third-party sign language interpreters and live captioning apps, with interpreters appearing as participant tiles and live captions configurable via settings.
- A new Edge Light feature for iPhone Duo devices adds a ring of light around the display during video calls across multiple apps, improving face illumination without external lighting equipment.
- To use these FaceTime features, all call participants must have iOS 27, iPadOS 27, or macOS 27 installed.
