Key Points:
- iOS 27.2 introduces a new ‘Suggestions’ feature in the Messages app, allowing users to quickly create calendar events, reminders, notes, map locations, and track flights or packages based on message content, with toggles to enable or disable each suggestion type.
- The Home app gains smart lock enhancements, including a ‘Lock After Closing’ setting to automatically lock doors after closing and a ‘Door Left Open’ notification option to alert users if a door remains open for specified time intervals.
- Apple Music in iOS 27.2 beta 4 features a significant design overhaul, removing the iconic red accent in favor of black-and-white icons and widgets, and changing the active tab color to blue, a move that has received largely negative feedback from users.
