Key Points:
- Jenna Dewan highlighted the importance of perseverance after her "Dancing With the Stars" partner Val Chmerkovskiy was suspended for a week, leading her to perform with pro Alan Bersten on short notice.
- Dewan and Bersten had only two and a half days to rehearse before performing a Viennese waltz dedicated to Dewan's mother, earning high praise from judges and a season-best score of 37 out of 40.
- Chmerkovskiy’s suspension followed a controversial TikTok post referencing Will Smith’s Oscars incident, which led to public backlash and an official apology from him.
- The suspension was unexpected for Chmerkovskiy but he accepted it gracefully, watched the episode from home, and later thanked Bersten for stepping in during his absence.
- Chmerkovskiy’s suspension has been lifted, and he is set to reunite with Dewan for rehearsals ahead of the upcoming "Horror Movie Night" episode, where two couples will be eliminated.
