Key Points:

Michael Douglas expressed regret at never having acted alongside his good friend Jack Nicholson, despite producing Nicholson’s Best Actor-winning film, One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest.
Douglas confirmed that Nicholson is no longer working and has largely disappeared from the public eye since his last movie in 2010, though he remains in good health.
Nicholson has made only occasional public appearances, such as the SNL 50 special and Lakers games, but continues to maintain a friendship with Douglas.
Douglas described seeing Nicholson regularly, noting he is now more reclusive and spends time quietly near his home.
Douglas has previously praised Nicholson’s acting, highlighting his role as Randle McMurphy and his ability to inspire others to perform at their best.
