[Rumor] Persona 1 Remake Footage Leaked

Persona Central • October 31, 2026 • technology

Key Points:

Atlus creative producer Kazuhisa Wada expressed strong support for remakes of the first two Persona mainline games, stating it is something they "definitely should do."
Recently leaked footage purportedly from a Persona 1 remake shows dungeon exploration, combat scenes including Persona 2 protagonist Tatsuya Suou, and story elements.
The authenticity of the leaked footage is uncertain, though it resembles previous internal leaks like the Persona 3 Reload footage from 2021, suggesting it may have been intended for internal use only.
The footage reuses animations from the yet-to-be-released Persona 4 Revival, which could indicate the remake’s legitimacy or shared development resources.
