Key Points:
- Paul McCartney supports Sam Mendes' Beatles biopic project, which will consist of four films released simultaneously in April 2028, each portraying the band from a different member's perspective.
- The cast features Paul Mescal as McCartney, Harris Dickinson as John Lennon, Joseph Quinn as George Harrison, and Barry Keoghan as Ringo Starr.
- McCartney expressed concern to Mendes about Paul Mescal appearing smaller than the actor playing John Lennon in a recreation of the Abbey Road album cover, emphasizing that the real Beatles were roughly the same height.
- Mendes explained the height difference was due to the actors' stride patterns in the photo, later sending McCartney an image where the actors appeared equal in height.
- McCartney recalled a similar issue in the 2009 film Nowhere Boy, where the actor portraying him also looked smaller than the actor playing Lennon.
