Key Points:
- A recent poll by Android Authority asked readers which Android phone they would prefer over the iPhone 18 Pro, attracting nearly 2,300 votes.
- The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra dominated the poll, receiving 61.5% of the votes, making it the clear favorite alternative to the iPhone 18 Pro.
- The Pixel 11 Pro came in a distant second with 14.8%, despite being cheaper, due to its smaller display, battery, and middling performance.
- Other contenders like the standard Galaxy S26, Motorola Razr Ultra (2026), and Nothing Phone 4a Pro received significantly fewer votes, each garnering around 7-9%.
- Voters seem to value the Galaxy S26 Ultra’s additional features, such as the Privacy Display, extra camera, and Samsung’s AI enhancements, positioning it as a strong competitor for those with iPhone 18 Pro-level budgets.
