Key Points:
- tvOS 27.2, releasing next week, introduces a new "Shuffle" option for screen savers, allowing Apple TV 4K users to cycle through all screen saver categories throughout the day instead of selecting just one.
- The Apple TV app now supports toggling American Sign Language (ASL) and British Sign Language (BSL) for select movies and shows, enhancing accessibility features.
- Users can customize screen savers from their Photos library by manually selecting content from their iPhone or iPad, avoiding the need to grant full photo library access.
- The upcoming Apple TV 4K (4th generation), launching November 13, will support Siri AI and a new four-speaker HomePod surround sound system, with Siri AI support planned for earlier models but not included in tvOS 27.2.
- tvOS 27.2 is currently available as a release candidate and is expected to be officially released to all users next week.
