Bleacher Report • • sports
Key Points:
- The 49ers nearly re-acquired wide receiver Jauan Jennings from the Vikings but Jennings declined, choosing to remain in Minnesota despite limited production this season; the 49ers are expected to pursue another receiver instead.
- Despite an injury-plagued season, the Philadelphia Eagles are not considering trading star running back Saquon Barkley, signaling their intent to keep him as a key offensive piece unless an exceptional offer arises.
- The Indianapolis Colts, amid a disappointing 2-6 start and roster changes, are open to trades but are not actively seeking offers for running back Jonathan Taylor, aiming to maintain leverage despite speculation about his availability.
- Several notable trades have already occurred this season, including the Seahawks acquiring Quenton Nelson, the 49ers reuniting with DeForest Buckner, and the Bears adding Jeffery Simmons, with more moves anticipated before the November 10 trade deadline.
