Waiver Wire Pickups & FAAB Advice For Week 7: Target Omar Cooper, J.J. McCarthy & More
FantasyLife • • sports
Key Points:
- This week is not ideal for spending your FAAB budget on any single player, especially running backs, as no major injuries occurred and starters are expected to return next week, reducing opportunities for backups.
- The focus should be on young, high-upside pass catchers, with FAAB advice tailored to different league formats, including Guillotine Leagues™️, supported by the Waiver Wire Tool for customization.
- Quarterback J.J. McCarthy of the New York Giants impressed by throwing for 243 yards in just 11 minutes, setting an NFL record for most passing yards in such a short span, and finished as the QB5 of the week.
- While McCarthy's future as a starter is uncertain, he is recommended as a speculative pickup in superflex leagues, with specific FAAB percentages suggested: 5% in 1QB leagues and 37.5% in superflex leagues.
