Key Points:

Amazon is offering a significant discount on the base model 14-inch M5 MacBook Pro, priced at $1,349.99, which is $649 off the original $1,999 list price.
This deal represents the lowest price ever tracked for this M5 MacBook Pro configuration, which includes 16GB RAM and a 1TB SSD.
The price drop follows Apple's release of the new M6 MacBook Pro and iMac models, making the M5 version a previous-generation option but still a strong value.
The discount may be a limited-time clearance offer, so interested buyers should act quickly before the deal potentially disappears.
This deal is notable given that the M5 MacBook Pro's price had increased from $1,699 to $1,999 earlier this year, and it never dropped below $1,499 before now.
