keto and type 2 diabetes

Does anyone know if or how the keto diet affects someone with type 2 diabetes? Would keto lower one's A1c?

16.70 In my experience on keto, my A1c went down. I ate fresh fruits and vegetables, though I aimed for non-starchy veggies as much as possible.

I think it will definitely help. You are eating more protein and lower sugar just make sure you check the carbs because people forget carbs turn into sugar

The keto diet may affect how much diabetes medication you need. This can lead to low blood sugar known as hypoglycemia if your medication isn't adjusted. It's important to talk to your doctor about any medication changes before starting keto.

I had investigated and I think doing keto with diebetes is not a good idea.  in a research they identified that people without any problem can present diabetes with this diet, and if it happens with healthy people, if you already have this problem, it cannot turn well.  As Roy said, you better go to the doctor and see what is best for your body.  everyone is different

Your pancréas is tired. Dont Ask him to convert fat to sugar for your brain.

I would have to think it would be great for diabetes.

    Let's talk
It definitely helps if it's practiced for a short duration I think. On a longer run it has many risks not worth taking
