We went foraging for some mushrooms last fall. We lucked out with this haul of chanterelles!

I used to forage mushrooms as well when i was young together with my younger siblings. I grew up in a tropical country so the mushrooms are often available all year round. Surprisingly, we got to gather a lot more 🍄 after a thunderstorm has passed by. It was fun!

We usually have to wait about a day after a rainstorm for the mushrooms to pop up.

It's more better to wait the next day so it would grow taller. But if you are not the only one foraging, you gotta be an early bird.
