I think no one is eating the apple . It's wastage of the apple.
Was walking to the store and found an apple tree. I think it's growing in someone's yard. As you can see there are a ton of tiny apples on the sidewalk.

I had one big apple tree in my backyard. Every year, we harvest apples, and make apple jam or apple pie. Some shared with my friends.
