Lately it seems like all our cars need repair at once. A few weeks ago the alternator and battery went in my Acadia. Yesterday, my muffler snapped off from the back pipe on my Civic. My son's mustang has a tranmission leak and is in the driveway unused. Thankfully I have a mechanic who was able to come to my house and get the car going when the alternator went. Today I will work on the Civic. 8:00 appointment with a shop. Hoping they can change the oil too.

May have found a new mechanic. The one I use now does the work in his driveway and can't do any lift work. I took my civic to a brake and muffler place and they had my oil changed and the muffler replaced in about an hour and a half. Cost wasn't horrible. They do most repairs even though it is labeled brakes and mufflers.
