I absolutely adore the scent and watching the bees.

    I love lavender. I have never thought to grow them in my house. Are they hard to grow?

      Not hard. They do need cutting back towards the end of the year which I have sadly failed to do, hence it looks a bit wild.

    Twice I've tried to tour a lavendar farm. The first time was in NJ and there wasn't enough interest in the trip. A friend went and said it was mostly dead and she was glad we did not go as a group. The second time was in Wyoming. I warned the others that the season was almost over and it might be dead. They did not listen to my warning. Paid $5 each for five of us (my two kids, myself and two friends) for us to walk through a garden and look at mostly dead flowers. We did enjoy the treats we paid a small fortune for at the end.ย

      It amazes me what lavender can be used for. As well as the obvious soaps etc., you can also get lavender jam (jelly in USA) and lavender ice cream ๐Ÿจย

      Honey lavendar ice cream is delicious. A few months ago I was in Seattle and got a scoop of that and a scoop of olive oil ice cream. Amazing!

But maybe I should think about doing more with lavender ๐Ÿชปย
