Mother's wisdom

What wise saying did your mother repeat to you? When my mom would lose something, she would say, " Clean and you will find".  She was right. Just today,  I was looking for my glasses. Yesterday, I was looking for my phone stand. I figured they must be together since they're both missing. I cleaned off my desk. Nothing. I cleaned out my tote. Nothing.  I checked my car and every spot sensible insensible.  Just now, I bent down and picked up discarded socks and shoes near my desk and behind them were my missing glasses and phone holder.  I think my cat had batted them off the end of my desk into the crevice between my desk and his cat tower.
