We went for a paddle today in a two person tandem kayak.

 

It was nice to be able to talk while paddling, but it was pretty frustrating too since we were not in sync and kept hitting each other's paddles. 

 

Next time, I think I'll insist on single kayaks.

    I think you really need to practice in order to paddle together.

    This is not the first time we've tried this. I should have remembered what it was like and insisted on separate kayaks.
