I have 3600 coins and the site says i must have at least 500 coins to cash out. I have tried emailing customer service with no answer. I am getting depressed.

Did you mean to say 5,000 coins? I have not had any issues cashing out. It used to be at 3,000 coins, now it's at 5,000. I've earned over $200 USD in gift cards in about 17 months. I hope your issue gets resolved.

I think the 500 is the required coins you must collect from just walking, not including challenge coins or games coins.

I don't think any country has gift card redeemed for just 500 coins. How many coins to redeem depends on the country and device you use. I'm in the US with Android phone, so for me it's 3000 coins to get a $5 gift card. iPhone users in the US need 5000 coins for $5 gift card.

Keep collecting those steps coins. If it's a mistake then you try customer service.

Yes, I'm wondering that too on the amount (also note these are gift cards not cash or cash type app like PayPal or venmo) cause the lowest I've seen is dunkin donuts I believe which requires 1800 coins (US). also depends what you're trying to get.
