While out yesterday, we stopped for a while alongside the airport runway to watch the planes taking off and landing. 

I was surprised how much my little granddaughter enjoyed it, considering it was totally new to her.

    There's always a few other cars there whenever we have stopped there over the past 40 years so I think it's a popular hobby 😊

    Airports are quite nice when you are not the one having to go through security and all the waiting! Planes are almost magical, gotta love science and engineering!

    I agree, they are far too big and heavy to actually fly 😂

    We don't get the huge planes here as the runway isn't long enough but it's kept busy with flights to sunny destinations 😊
