Les Miz is set at the beginning of the French Revolution. The main character, Jean Valjean, recently released from a hard labor prison, finds redemption after a priest shows him kindness and love. Through raising the daughter of a woman who has died, he finds value in his life. The score is one of the best in musical theater.

One of my favourite musical of all times
